Psychologists are often accused of trying to get into peoples' heads.  Personally, I would rather get into their hearts, try to feel what they felt, or are feeling, and try to convey that in song.   Lately, I've been inspired, not only by the songs of George Jones, but by his autobiography.  I'm only at page 11, and his story has already inspired me to write two songs.  Here's the second:  The First Time Daddy took a Drink Dr BLT words and music by Dr BLT copyright 2008   the first time daddy took a drink was when my sister, Ethel, died it was too much for him to bear before that ' didn't have a care from that day on the man would snap my mama's face, old daddy slapped the family didn't sleep a wink the first time daddy took a drink   I would be born five years from then and I would get to know him well that dark side would come to be the darker side inside of me and in the middle of the night he'd stumble in, turn on...
