I don't think it is that we're bent on expelling illegal immigrants. I like it that Kern County farmers are getting rich off of cheap labor and prices on food stay the same. Well, I guess it's all a moot point now. The protest was very symbolic, but had no impact on the economy. And nice Marx quote, but as passionate as your response was, it didn't answer the call of the young lady's question. This time try addressing the market ecomony rather than capitalism, since that's what America employs. You may need to do some actual research though rather than relying on trite stereotypes of capitalists. Marxists haven't exactly been all that respectful to peoples' rights either. And try not to forget, Mexico is stolen land too. On a more positive note, I do agree with you that Martin Luther King's cause was great. But then again, the Mexican immigration problem here doesn't even compare with the racism that the blacks experienced in American hostory. Mexicans are at least...
