I'm actually amazed that Bakersfield has a an online community that looks ok. I'm not being cynical, I guess this is just me being shocked. I'm 22 and live with my fiancee, ok I've never been much for these  "about me" parts, but there is one on my website. I've lived here since I was about six years old I think. So it's been quite a while, I don't think I'm the only one who agrees that there isn't too much to do in town for certain people. But I thought hopefully through this I could find something more. I've actually learned that there is a growing artistic culture here, and no I haven't been in a cave with my eyes shut and hands covering my ears, sometimes this stuff is hard to find here lol.
