     I am a California boy born and raised. I was born in Inglewood and raised through out the Los Angeles Orange County area. I even lived in the Bay Area while attending culinary school.  I  will be completely honest, during my first trip to Bakersfield a few years ago I remember thinking..."there is no way I could see myself living in this town". Well a couple of years, some maturing and the right opportunity I still thought "It sounds like a great idea, but Bakersfield"? But after being here for a few month, I have come to appreciated the little slice of Americana known as "Bako". There are some genuinely nice people here.The pace of life takes a little getting used to, but that happens now matter where you are. As for the opportunity, it is called Replay Lounge & Grill ( maybe one day you will hear about us). We had an idea to bring a concept restaurant to the town because we think it will be well received. Well, feel free to ask me about any thing, and if anyone was offended by earlier thoughts on Bakersfield, you have obviously missed the moral of my story. Until then...
