Just your average, ordinary, everyday fag. I work for Bakersfield magazine in a position that doesn't really have any definition. But I seem to write a lot so that must count for something.

I'm a compulsive Ikea shopper with a home that could very well be a Ikea satelite store right here in Bakersfield. Speaking of- I get annoyed having to drive past the Ikea distribution center just so I can go to the Burbank Ikea. Grrrrr.

I consider myself something of an artist and a writer of songs. The depth and legitimacy of both of these claims can be debated. Just ask my mom. I have had work shown at Metro Gallery, Surface Gallery, BMoA Small Works show 2007 and Gay Pride of Bakersfield 2006. I also do a lot of volunteer work for our local chapter of The American Heart Association. Two of my art-kwilts have been donated to local causes I support: Bike Bakersfield and The American Heart Association.

Domestically partnered going on seven years to an amazingly patient and giving person. Everyday is spent working and building our lives here in good, ol' Bakey. We live in an average tract home near 99 and Olive. My partner has 2 grown sons and 4 grandchildren. Between them all we keep pretty busy.
