I am a late 40s(48 as of 3-08)single parent. I have two girls at home and two who are adults. I have three grandsons(two are actually step, but since thir dads have never been a part of their lives, I am "Pa" to them..more about them later)aged 1, and two that are 20. I have worked for the railroad in the signal dept. since 1979(with the exception of a three and a half year furlough from 1980 to 1984). I wrk between Bakersfield and Merced and do a lot of running up and down the Valley.

I have been a motocross rider  since 1974 and raced, off and on, till 2000. I just got another dirtbike, so who knows?! I have a Harley(2002 Heritage)and love riding it as often and as far as time and money allow! I am a guitarist, a published poet(thus "motopoet"), amateur astronomer, photographer and a general know-it-all..LOL..

I have a great many interests and love sharp conversation(as well as silly ones!)and a good political debate. I am a conservative, but not too far out there.

I am a one year old Fresno State Bulldog Football fan because one of my grandsons is there on a full ride. That would be Ryan Mathews, who led the nation as a High School Senior for West in 2006. Ryan is also an awesome motocrosser even though his football schedule keeps him off the bike most of the time.

Dante is my other 20 year old grandson and Ryans adopted brother. Dante is now attending Barber College in Fresno and plans to return to Bako as soon as he graduates.

My natural grandson is Aidan. He is one and has a brand new PW50 Yamaha sitting in my garage just waiting for him to grow into it!
