My name is Christine.  I call Bakersfield my home (since '76), although I was born and raised a "poor white girl" in Compton, CA (reppin' the 213) <my daughter just fell out of her chair in hysterical laughter an told me never EVER to say that again>.  I'm a hip mother of 2 wonderful kids; 1 boy...man <choke> 22 and 1 girl... 17 going on 21.  She just joined the Marines.  I'm proud and scared all at the same time. 

I LOVE music.  I'm eclectic.  I can listen to almost anything... have to pass on country and techno, though.  I love to sing, dabble with guitar.  I'm not much of a reader.  I find myself skipping to the last chapter to see how it ends.  I have a wickedly odd sense of humor, so stay on your toes at all times!  Oh, and I love classic cars.  

I'm sure there is more that I love, but that is why you get to know someone, right?

Now residing in Boise, Idaho.  I can't say that I miss Bakersfield too much... I do miss my ex-husband, Brett Garrett.  Even after we divorced we'd run into each other at strange points in our lives and talk like no time had gone by. We held no ill will against each other since we did marry when I was 17.  Now he's got this BEYOTCH jealous wife that controls his every move/thought and has convinced him that I am the source of all his issues.  I'm sure she threatens to toss him out on his ass or take his son away if he contacts me.  That's what jealous bitches do. Or keep buying him toys to make him happy.  You can't buy love...

Oh well.... water under the bridge.  He knows I will forever hold him in my heart.  He was my first love and I was his; can't take that memory away from either of us.

I swore I would never remarry and never did for all of those years.  Now I have.  He's a wonderful man so very much like you; kind, caring, giving, loving almost to a fault.  Like the Brettsky I knew.

My time is short... too short for dealing with your  psycho beyotch gatekeeper.  Best of luck and love to you, Brettsky.  You deserve it.
