ROCK CAMP FOR GIRLS!!!

Stockdale Music is proud to present Rock Camp for Girls, Bakersfield's first summer camp designed for girls who want to rock. The purpose of the camp is provide a space where young women can express themselves musically without the stigmas and negative imagery of pop culture. Under the guidance of professional musicians and volunteers, girls between the ages of 8 and 18, will partake in a number of activities, workshops, and a concert. Girls from all over Bakersfield (who might not ever meet otherwise) will come together, form bands, write a hit song, and make friendships out of rock and roll. 

Applications are currently being processed for the summer session, June 16th-20th. The deadline for applications is May 30th, so hurry up, don't be late! 

We look forward meeting the future women of rock & roll.

Camp Basics:

Ages 8-18

Cost: $100.00 (campers will be required to bring a sack lunch, snacks, and beverages.)

Location: Stockdale Music - 4903 Stockdale Hwy. Bakersfield, CA 93309

Dates: June 16th-20th

Time: TBA (the hours will be determined the first week of May.)

Experience: There will be limited time available for one-on-one lessons, but Stockdale Music has a large variety of private instructors to get your chops ready at reasonable prices. Girls with at least one year of experience on their instrument are perfect for the program. 

Instruments: Campers are encouraged to bring their own gear (except amplifiers and drum sets), limited used store gear is available for the girls.
