The Idea

To document the final recording session at Fat Tracks studio.
There is much karmic energy in the old River Theater that has helped
to create some of the most loved music of our modern times.
On April 27, 2008 the final full recording session took place at the Fat Tracks
studio. It was a very special time shared by a small group of people who
had found their way to the old studio.  The legacy of the old Fat Tracks
studio and of the studio that Buck Owens originally built will someday
be looked upon in the same way that Sun Records is looked at today. 
To miss this one time opportunity to capture the memories while the
studio was still connected to its rich history would truly have been
a tragedy.  This is why it was so important to take advantage of
this moment before it was gone forever.  Please enjoy one of the songs that was recorded that night and stay tuned for the story behind this small gathering of people that came together for a very special night to celebrate music and the legacy that was created by Buck Owens starting in 1968.
