About FattKatt and the VonZippers
FattKatt & The VonZippers were formed in December 1999 in Bakersfield, California. The band was originated by FattKatt. He was inspired by the music from the 50's and the look and feel of that era. The band members come from various backgrounds and experiences with a mutual love of Rockabilly Music. FattKatt & The VonZippers play 50's Rock & Roll, Country, and original music. Their inspiration comes from artists such as Elvis Presley, Wanda Jackson, Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, and many others. These artist helped pioneer rockabilly music and the style that's imitates today. Rockabilly is fun wholesome music that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
