Welcome to the Moosehead Band Web site. The Moosehead Band, from Bakersfield, California, consists of Kenny Walters (middle), lead singer/song writer, bassist, and guitarist, Ernie Lewis (far left), lead singer/song writer, guitarist, fiddler, banjoist, mandolinist, and dobro player, Robert Flores (far right), singer and drummer , John Hollins (right of Ernie), trumpet and percussion, and Les Besser (left of Bob), singer, guitarist, keyboardist, and a host of other "-ist" attributes . 

The group, the "brain-child" of Kenny Walters, has been together since 1980 and is extremely popular within its region.  Originally, the band focused on performing country music, but throughout the years, the shift to a wide variety of songs has occurred.  Therefore, it is not uncommon to still hear Country, but it is also not unusual to hear music by Jimmy Buffett, The Eagles, and Led Zeppelin, as well as originals, when the group performs.  www.mooseheadband.com
