Folksinger, Songwriter, Environmental and Peace Activist...

I grew up in the Kern River Valley, and travelled everywhere by the back roads. My songs are about wandering the hills of California with no direction home.

I'm always looking for a gig to play own songs, and always ready to play folk and protest songs for environmental, peace or progressive gatherings for free.

Currently, I'm working on a book of protest songs, and I'm developing a Woody Guthrie show, so you may encounter me anywhere I think I can get away with playing a few Woody Guthrie songs. And maybe a couple of my own...

Upcoming Shows:

I'm going to be playing my songs for the Spring Nature Festival at the       Kern River Preserve on May 3rd and 4th, from 10 to 12 o'clock.  It's at 18747 Hwy 178 in Weldon.

I'm going to perform some traditional American folk songs, and some of my originals for the Kern River Valley Historical Society, at History Days in May. This is a great 3 day event held at the Kern River Valley  Museum in Kernville. I'll be playing on May 19th and 20th.

I'm going to be returning to Mama Hillybeans Coffee And Community to do a two hour set of my originals on May 31st from 7 to 9 pm. It's at 426 East Tehachapi Blvd, in Tehachapi. Great people, great coffee and a great sound system.
