I just moved back to Bakersfield after getting my MA in Art History at the University of Memphis (Go Tigers!). I'm now the Gallery Associate at the Arts Council of Kern and I'm constantly planning art events, looking for local artists, and trying to catalog all the art events in Kern County... you can't say that there's nothing to do in Bakersfield... you just have to know where to look!
