About opstylee
O.P. Stylee is back on the music circuit with style. The new lineup consists of founder Otis Paul on vocals, Mark Powell(The Hitmen) on bass/guitar/keyboards and Aaron Novak(The Silence Club) on guitar/vocals. The original band established its' fan base in Bakersfield, CA and collected even more fans up and down the state as they performed in various cities ranging from Tahoe to San Diego. The success of the bands catchy lyrics and dance tunes allowed O.P. to branch out nationally. Singer and song writers O.P. Stylee and Daniel Burt gave birth to the band which originated in Bakersfield, deriving its' roots from reggae culture. Other original members included Alan Alexander, Larry Hernandez, Mike Day, Dave Neuhauser and Latin Lover Louie Cruz. During his career, O.P. Stylee has shared the stage with fellow reggae bands such as Steele Pulse, Ziggy Marley, Eek a Mouse, and Big Mountain just to name a few. Lifes changes led the original members of O.P. Stylee on separate paths, but the band has recently been resurrected by singer/ lyricist O.P.Stylee along with songwriters Mark Powell and Aaron Novak. The advent of modern technological advances in the music industry, has allowed the boys to bring forth a fresh mix to their music. These collaborative efforts, which elaborate on the original sound, paved the way for innovative style of cultural pop and brings sounds from around the globe onto one stage. The bands revamped motif, with the still distinctive voice of O.P., is well received as old fans and new listeners alike hit the dance floor .
