Hi again BTR,

Glad to hear that Warren's off on his rainbow.

He was our piano accompanist for my class at Ratings competition.

And my kids loved him too. As did I.

Even tho he grumbled that he had to practice and play straight classical music.

My other pianist was a friend of his too and he used to always say, "give the hard stuff to her" even tho we all knew he was accomplished and talented enough to play all of it.

He made it fun for all of us.We called him the OGRE (just 'cause he really wasn't!!)

I miss him terribly every year. Pisses me off that he moved away, but wish him all the very best.

Thanks for writing.
Karin
Someday I'll blog about the Ogre and the Fairy Princess (one of my students) and their Bach performance in competition.  Love that guy, really.  :)

Hey BTR, Catching up on some Bako friends and blogs. Did you ever know Warren D. from the Melodrama? Did he get off to Seattle this summer as planned? BOL, Karin
