Direct from East Bakersfield, we proudly presents Central California's hottest oldie band, as Thee Majestics celebrate 35 years of making music, reviving old memories and making new ones.

Bringing you thier own style of Oldies, Funk, Latin and Country music, Thee Majestics promise a non-stop fest of good times and variety of music to fit almost any occasion. Thee Majestics are well known throughout the Central Valley and Southern California, as they have opened for major recording artists, like WAR, Thee Midnighters. S.O.S., Dazz Band and more. Thee Majestics also perform at many private engagements, night clubs, and community events.

The story began in 1967 in an East Bakersfield garage. Originally formed by East High School students to entertain at parties and casual events,Thee Majestics have continued on for the last thirty four years to be a permanent fixture in Bakersfield musical history.

Having played in every major venue in Bakersfield, Thee Majestics are considered by many to be Central California's longest playing and most versatile performing bands. Their mixed repertoire of music has provided Thee Majestics with opportunities to open for and performed with many international recognized Grammy award winning and top musical artist who tour through Bakersfield. From the pop funk sounds of the Dazz Band, S.O.S, Sheena E.Band and Lakeside to the street urban oldie rhythms of The Midnighters, The Drifters, to the salsa beats of Malo and Tierra to the smooth contemporary harmonies of The Vogue, Thee Majestics are sought by promoters to open for these wide range of artists.

Thee Majestic annual three day cruise to Mexico in November sells out every year. People from all over California come aboard to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, reunions and assorted other party reasons, and have one righteous, blow-out, legendary party aboard a cruise ship filled with Thee Majestic fans, friends and families.

With an ear for what pleases the audience, Thee Majestics have a loyal and steady following represented by a wide ethnic group and diverse demographic fan base. These days, fans bring good vibes, party and memories to Thee Majestics' shows. To the current six players, their place in the minds of fans is their sole reason for playing again after three fun decades.

The original five Majestics were John Molina, Steve Candelaria, Raymond "Professor" Chavez, "Little Phillip" Villanueva and Adam Acevedo. Today,Thee Majestics include founding memebers Raymond "Professor" Chavez on drums/vocals, "Little Phillip"Villaneuva on vocal/percussian. The other members are Robert Martinez on keyboard/vocals,Steve Flores on bass/vocals,Dathan Fernandez on guitar, Toni Aguilar on trombone, Phillip Blass on trumpet and Jeff McCandless on sax.
