VECAR - Bio  

Vecar Is a 3 peice Rock and roll group from Bakersfield. It started out as a solo act performance with Paul Paramo rocking out in local venues for a little more than a year. He began and continues to build a fun and energetic following. He would prerecord the Bass, Drums and Keyboards for all of the songs and live sing and play the guitar. Although this side of Paul was entertaining and exciting, he felt the lack of power without a live bassist and drummer. After auditions and interviews, Paul came across two young talented individuals: Anthony Cervantes on Bass guitar and Esteban Mendoza on Drums. Now With a full band Vecar delivers strong, solid tunes with traceable influences from 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's and now.

Vecar cuts across a large variety of genres, from folk rock to raggae. The usual set consists of about ten original songs and about ten covers from bands such as: Soft cell, Tommy James, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, The cure, Travis, . Vecar Caters to those people out that are tired of the same old thing and want some thing sexy and new to dance to!
