About woofwoof

I am 36 years young and a single mom of two :)
I have lived in Bakersfield about 13 years now and I love it:)
One son is now in the army and the other 16 going on 21 hahaha:)
I am a self proclaimed book aholic but hey,,It could be worse:) I have been a member of Bakotopia for awhile now and I got to say I LOVE IT!! I have found many friends here and MADE some amazing friends. If you want to find out whats going on in Bakersfield then THIS is the place.
I am deaf right now and I have been for about 6 years now and I dont sign only read lips. I am working on getting some hearing back with the cochlear implant . I find out if its possible soon.

Spent a year and a half at Fort Lewis when I was a platoon leader in the 12th Regiment of the 4th Infantry Division, now I understand in Fort Carson, CL. Some good things and some bad there. My second daughter was born in tacoma.

I have a sister in Vancouver, WA who taught for years at the Washington School for the Deaf in Vancouver.  If there is anything she could do for you, let me know.
