0 responses 1 comment Big House, a country/blues band featuring Monty Byrom, once had a string of hits, a big contract, three albums and many big tours.
The death of a close friend of the now defunct band—also a relative of the roadies of Bighouse—meant for a night of reflection and music remembrance.
Inside I saw Monty’s publicist Melanie, and she reminded me the night was a sort of wake.
Right away I saw Monty in sandals jamming with former members of Big House, including Chuck Seaton,Tanner Byrom, and Ron Mitchell.
It was supposed to be ‘Open Mic Night’ at Fishlips on 18th Street.
