I was headed from Westchester Bowling Alley where you can get big breakfasts in a retro diner—all to the sounds of crashing pins. It’s great people watching too: the old barstools, the fluffy booths and funky waitresses. In fact, I went there twice this weekend. Both times I think it was women who decided.

After my bowling alley breakfast, I stumbled upon a Proposition 85 rally in downtown Bakersfield. People from nearby Catholic churches lined the streets in support of the proposition that claims it illegal to have an abortion without parental consent (

Big fat YES to parental consent! Kids can't have an asprin w/ out it so, why should they be able to have a medical procedure w/out it?
