Just in case you didn't know...

Bakotopia is kick starting a new support project for local artists with the Bakotopia Music Compilation series.

Bakersfield has a vibrant local music scene, much of which goes unnoticed by the community. That’s about to change.

The Bakotopia Music Compilation Vol. 1 spotlights 16 of the best up and coming local unsigned bands in Bakersfield, CA.

Not since the local Cultivation CD music projects of the early 1990’s has a collection of Bakersfield bands gathered for a united project, to showcase our local talent and eclectic tastes!

With our rich history of music making by Buck Owens & KORN, it’s time to help the next generation of local hit makers get noticed.

Stay tuned for more information on the CD release parties happening all over Bakersfield with the bands!
