We had a real good time for Eddie's Birthday.  We started playing around 1:30ish and didn't get done until 7ish.  It was old school for me due to the fact that a lot of my compadres de jale, from back in da'day, my mentors and old friends were there. Mike Canchola (Sud's Tavern), Johnny Madrid, Lori Madrid, Joan Redstone, Wendy Gutierrez, Jane Claxton and a lot of musician friends joined us for some groovin tunes.  Tim Murray got up and sang Beast of Burden because he was "in a hurry".  LOL.  Larry Hernandez, Phil Hernandez, Bobby Santacruz, Rick Fernandez (DJ DEZ), Larry Valladares, Art Carbajal, Buzzy Herandez from Divided Highway showed up (he was playing the Pyrenees that afternoon) plus many others were there to help celebrate Eddie's party. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for showing up and having a good time with us.  -Glenda

Sounds like the perfect birthday, Glenda! I'm glad you had a little "blast from the past." Nothing like hagin' with some good ol compadres/comadres from back in the day to make us feel young again, right? Or smarter, after reminiscing about all the crazy stuff we may or may not have done and gotten away with... tee hee. Thanks for sharing those pictures wtih us. Looks like a blast!
