Pyrenees Cafe, Sissy is the baddest bartender in all of Bakoland, you have to check her out next time you are in that part of the country. I recommend Sat. afternoons for the biker party or even better, come out on Tuesday eve. for the new biker night with The SuperSonic Band, Sissy makes it all work very nicely. Definitely the bartender at Alley Cat - sorry don't know the dudes name. See one night a friend of mine asked me if I like Dr Pepper. "Sure", I said. Next thing I know there is a mug of beer in front of me and the bartender is lighting a shot glass on fire. My friend says to pour the glass into the mug (yes, pour, not drop), so I did. The liquor splashed onto my hand, my hand caught on fire, I set the shot glass down, the alcohol on the bar caught on fire, and all the while the bartender was totally calm, everyone's yelling chug chug chug! As I chug the beer, my friend beats my hand out and the bartender put his bar out with a rag. Best bartender, he didn't kick my ass out, and chanted chug along with the rest of them ... oh, did I mention that I was totally sober? Yes, my vote is for Sandy @ Vinny's Bar... but.. reading all these comments - I think it's quite obvious that not only is Bako full of talented musicians/ artists.. we are full of fun loving kick ass venues and bartenders! The Riley's crew would be one of my favs too.. been going there since I turned 21!! oh my..and Alley Cat.. Rodger and Brandon.. All my boys at Alley Cat are the best...I don't really think I could narrow it down to just one of them because each one rocks in there own way..Brandon or "BuBBa" is the -Cocky-Comedian-. Rodger who kinda intimidated me when I first met him about 2 years ago, is now one of my favorties. And then there is Mitchell..He is hilarious & and he can always put a smile on my face.
