KKeyes posting public comment here about something he read in the baKotopia magaZine. it is this: it's the first, yes very the first issue ever of this magazine.
additional comjments form Keyes for free: first of all, congrats to the baKotorians for their first issue. it took a few years for it to tome, but maybe we could get this neXt issue sometime before 2010. secondly, we ccan be proud -- never in the history of modern man or even prehistoic man has baKotopia been dsitributed among the pubic masses. some leading scholars, specifically anthrosociologists do now believe they may have uncovered some evidence of early baKo influences among the baKonantherdals, an early version of man. the baKo infatuation with an adult beverage made from barley, malt and hops, was seen also among the ruins where baKostag once stood.

The mayor of Beach Park. This made me stop and really think that this could happen to anyone. In this time we live in with a blink of an eye anyone could be homeless.
Also thanks to the Capistrano Ad for Wine & Dine Wednesdays I have a place to go after work.
Good info that is up to date.
Thank you,
Julie

I enjoyed reading Chase's entry on Don Imus. Chase, you are an extremely intelligent young man. My respects, eventhough we may disagree on certain issues. Stick with your ideologies buddy...no matter how radical or conservative they are. Sal "The Socialist" Plascencia.

Saying goodbye to Anna Nicole
A touching story, and nails home that fact that when yousay bye, you never know if it well be the last time you see that person.

Picked up a copy of Bakotopia Mag @ Fishlips at their re-opening last Friday...enjoyed the format, exciting and new...let's hope it's a keeper! And I would luv to experience the JazzFest, particularly Poncho Sanchez :) but I'm certain it will all be great! Support LIVE Music Bakotopians!

Okay, I still haven't seen it yet. We need magazines in the -08 area... remember my message, Matt? :) Oh but I did catch NL's video and saw that my favorite Twinkie and her Vegas adventure is featured! :)
P.S. Sorry about my previous comment. I really thought I'd posted it as a public comment. hehe... :)

Went to pickup a copy of the mag at Stockdale Music, but they were out. I guess I'll pick one up later today at Jesus Shack. Congrats on going to print by the way! Hook me up with some tickets to the Smooth Jazz Festival! I've gone every year of it's existence since I was a tiny little fella. Last year was fun since our cousin Ricky was smashin on the B3 w/ Dave Sanborn! I'd love to catch Pancho this year. If I don't win tickets, you'll probably see me in a lawn chair outside the gates... I'm poor!
