A big Howdy Bake Town from Noel and the band....

We are having a ton of fun gigging around town.  Our band has just been assembled in the last 6 months and we have all been in several other bands before.  My name is Noel but my friends call me Randy cause that's my first name.  As far as the band goes I go by (Noel)... 

I decided to start a new band after doing hotel gigs and singing lots of karaoke for fun.  I have to say it is a lot more work than I imagined. 

I knew a few chords on an old guitar I got from my dad when I was a kid, (about a year ago) Just kidding...  Quite frankly I sucked at it and it showed.  So I tried to get someone to do it for me so I could just sing.  I found out most guitar players were not super dependable or loyal.  So I signed up for guitar lessons and started doing it myself for the band.  I love it and the band actually respects my efforts despite my tenderfoot abilities compared to them of course...

I love to entertain and especially to make people laugh so I am quick to tell a joke or two on stage.

Our guitar player Derek is amazing to say the least and I am completely star struck at his ability to play those awesome leads.  This man and I are only a few months apart in age...  We have been very close friends since kindergarten...  Wow that's a long time but we won't say how long but definitely plural decades for sure. 

Our Bass player Mark Bazzini showed up at my house to do a bathroom re-model and heard me practicing original songs while he worked... He was invited to one of our practices and asked if he could sit in on a song or two.  We were so blown away we couldn't be without him and he has been here ever since. 

James (Dean) Tacket our drummer is new to the band scene but he is great and his dedication and attitude are second to none.  Let me tell you we are proud to have him in our band and he sets the time for the whole group.  We couldn't do it with out him or his willingness to do whatever it takes.

Our goals as a band are to be entertaining and fun to watch...  Not so serious that we are dry or short but serious enough to bring a solid show with real entertainment every time.

Make no mistake about it we are a band with a country feel but we will certainly rock the house when it's time.

We are currently in the studio with 8 original songs and several covers done our way.  These songs will be on our 1st CD titled (There'll be Noel Emmett)...  Check for sample cuts to posted soon.
