haha... i saw a guy get oral in the middle of a pit... i couldn't decide what to watch... hehe... she actually got stepped on and it didn't end well... awe the memories...

Ozzfest.... 1997.... Devore California... Dressed in a bikini.. flip flops... (not the proper attire for a concert) but when have I been known to be proper.. Anyways... Pantera takes the stage.. Xplicit ends up being pulled into the mosh pit that consisted of 300+ people... Happy ending????.... Xplicit leaves the mosh pit without a top on... Comment From: MetalNarse

Well i went to ozzfest this year with a few of my friends and there was a bunch of dudes moshing drunk around the fire in one of the pits, this one guy was so drunk that he fell in the pit fire and caught himself on fire not realizing that he was on fire got back up and started pit moshing with a bunch of people while his legs were on fire, then ozzfest staff had to use a fire extinguisher to put the guy out he was covered in that white paste stuff all night, you had to be there it was hilarious Comment From: missbaby

Well, I've never been in a mosh pit....see I am NOT a pussy ass I promise....I just value my nose....and as its a little large it does NOT need to get broken and get bigger... :O Anyways, I was at the Supersuckers show this weekend and a few of my friends jumped in....One friend had an empty bottle of beer in each hand. The Best Mosh Moment would have to be during Linkin Park/hed(PE) was these 3 guys huge like apes. I mean the kinda guys that spend there whole life working out and taking steriods. Well there bashing around swing there arms and creaming everyone in sight. Well, the average size of someone who goes to these concerts in 1/3 of what these guys are. Well Chester of Linkin Park stops playin and and literall call these guys out and call a bunch of Apes and they are escorted from the arena. I mean moshing is one thing, you go nuts, but someone falls down you pick em back up and circle with em. Come to find out later they spent the entire concert in the back of 2 patrol cars of the BPD cause they took a swing at sercurity. All a happy to a great concert Comment From: shampy90

in alaska the scene is really small. "the scene.." i honestly don't remember how long its been since i was really part of the underground music scene, at least a good 4 years has gone by without the need to go. ahem..anyways, so in alaska, "the scene" ,nowadays, consists of either down to earth people who REALLY give a shit and support the scene, or 10 year old groupies. im exaggerating, maybe 13 years old. either way, back when i was into that whole moshpit i have crazy hair and live my life for REALLY crazy reasons...i was the tiniest girl in the pit. it was fricken hilarious. i was ALWAYS on top of someones shoulders..being 5 feet tall an under 100 lbs..just to be in with a crowd of outrageously energized people was a different,exhilerating experience each time. something bad or something good ALWAYS took place, and i never regretted it since. but the problem with the alaska society TODAY, is that its filled with pompous a$$holes that think beating the shit out of another PERSON is what its about. its offending, so i don't bother anymore. thus being posted, an i, just moving to this state of heated death, from the snowcaps of the world.. i hope this is enough rambling for my experience! ;) .,...oh yes, definite rambling. where was the relevance? haha. I was in the mosh pits at the Rockin Roots Fest, and i got elbowed in the chest, fell onto the ground, and a guy ran up and stomped on my chest, bruising my ribs. i couldnt breathe right for a month. freakin sucked. So, it was back in high school. I was at a show down in the oh so glorious Jerry's showhole. Fergot what band was on, but didn't matter really cause all I wanted to do was jump in the mosh. So mosh starts up I jump in along with my $300 somethin bucks mouth appliance I had to wear to correct my underbite. No No wasnt' no headgear status, was more like a moutpiece and locked onto your teeth just like a retainer. Anyways, was havin a good ol time moshin when BAM outta nowhere I get a sock to the face. Yeah, the blow was so hard knocked my biteblock right outta my mouth. Not only was I bleeding but scared, scared of tellin my mom, "yeah uhh lost my bitething in the mosh." So, i get on my hands and knees and start lookin for the lil sucker. End up gettin two fingers sprained, a shiner, and lost a shoe. All and all I learned a valuable lesson, don't skate to jerry's if your gonna join the pit at the show, cause then you have to skate back with one effin shoe!" Wait what? ..m/ DEzi DOo
