Many of you that have known me for a while have probably noticed my affinity for quick witted sarcastic banter. Some of you may have fell victim of it and I know many of you have painted me into a corner (bravo btw, it’s not easy). It is because of this amusement and willingness to participate in crazy antics that led me to one of the best parties of the year. Gozefest 2007 (my own pet name for the occassion). What is this ‘Gozefest’ of which you speak?
About a year ago a friend of mine posted a bulletin on myspace about a hilarious blog to read. This is about the third time she has posted the same bulletin so of course the curiosity got the better of me and I’m glad it did.
I go to this blog and have my first Goze exposure with “Things and People I Hate”. A fantastic series of cynical rants. I’m not sure which number I saw first but, number 18 was posted last month. I was almost in tears with some of the things he brought to the table as they are many of the things I hate also: Bluetooth phone guy, Starbucks, and Levitra to name a few. Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
As you navigate thru his blogs there are a few series of other fun things to read: “25 questions with (insert bad ass here)” and rant tournaments to name a couple. Once you finally get to the bottom of these blogs you find an insane amount of comments that are just as comical. It was there that I started to meet a lot of oober cool people (in addition to the masses I already know). I got to hang out with these people as they flew in from all over the place just for Goze’s birthday party.
So off to
Now, what is Goze up to these days? He still has one of the most popular blogs on myspace. On the other hand, he has helped start and build TAGG with co-hosts Gorgeous George and Frank Trigg. This show is anything and everything and maybe a little more than you would ever like to know about MMA (mixed martial arts). The show was put together in honor of a dear friend, Ryan Bennett who was considered one of the most influential early personalities in MMA radio broadcasting (to learn more about TAGG radio, read previous post of their press release). If you are into MMA or just a tad bit curious, check them out. You might learn something and have a blast listening.
So, if you are in the market for awesome people, colorful humor [blog not for the kiddies], and/or all things MMA check him out.
Sit down, log in, be brave and strap on your blue belt in Gozejitsu (click pic).
Or, to listen to MMA's hotest inteviews visit TAGG RADIO.
