My favorite holiday is back again, and what scarier place to be than Bakotopia?!

Oh, the memories of Halloween past:

Being a kid at the McFarland Halloween Carnival. The town was so small that everyone showed up. Of course, the rowdy bunch was always out in force egging cars all night long.

Taking my kids trick-or-treating: My baby daughter dressed as a plump little fairy. I carried her in my arms and waved the wand at the doors.

My son dressed as a Beetleborg one year repeating, "Trick or treat, smell my feet" all night long.

When DJ Mikey was a kid, I dressed him up as Jason from Friday the 13th with so much fake blood, the judges were appalled.

Seeing my favorite band, Oingo Boingo, perform for the last time on Halloween night in LA, 1995. So sad...

Last Halloween, Tekwiz and I headed downtown to document the evening with pictures. We ended up posting about 200 photos on the web much to the delight of our users, who love seeing women in sexy costumes and a dwarf dressed like a Care Bear.

I remember getting a phone call from a hysterical woman the next day, begging me to 'Please take my picture off your Web sit., I'm a teacher!' The picture in question apparently revealed a little bit more anatomy than she wanted.

Upon very close inspection, Tekwiz and I reluctantly took the picture down, much to the dismay of Bakotopians everywhere.

I will tell you this, if teachers looked like that when I was in school, you would've found me in class every day!
