Wow!! Singers, musicians, dancers… All kinds of cool people here at Bakotopia. I used be in a band and still dance on occasion. I used to do the good old two step, cotton-eye Joe and some country swing dancing pretty good.  I even won a dance contest doing the Beer Belly Boogie and a 7 day cruise ship trip to the Mexican Riviera.

I used to sing oldies but my wife told me not to give up my day job nor my night job…….. so I don’t sing anymore!!   Well, at least she doesn’t hear me sing!! I’ve know of Bakotopia for a long time now and have friends here. My daughter, Sandra Serrano, even had an article here. I like to see people having a good time because when they have a good time, I have a good time.

Some people may think I’m a little kooky but to be honest, I’m a very serious person and take my jobs seriously. Honest!! But like I said, I do like to see a smile in people’s faces. Do you know that smiling is good for you and it takes less muscles to smile than it does to frown? So after this introduction, I’m going to be serious with you all.

Some of you have seen me in MAS and a frequent visitor there is good old Twinkie. She’s so funny and always contributes very thoughtfully with well prepared articles. She always asks for a response from the other users. Some of her articles cause me to smile and others cause me to reply with my own comments about her topic of conversation. Most of my comments are from my experience of many years.  I’m sure anyone my age has a lot of experience in many things while many persons here are just beginning to learn and they learn from those with experience.

Having sad all that, I want to be honest with you.  Honestly!! I tell my wife that because of my current occupation(s)…….I don’t lie, I can’t lie, don’t know how!!  I mean there’s a lot of you like me out there.  I read your articles and find a lot of truth in them. Well, at least in some of them.  Going back to my occupation(s), I’ve done a lot of things and had a lot of jobs in my life. Let me see….hmmm! From working out in the cotton fields, grape vineyards, strawberry fields, potato fields, and onion fields…..to picking string beans, peas, plums, prunes, oranges, lemons, and a variety of other fruits and vegetables.

On top of that, I’ve driven farm tractors and caterpillars, heavy equipment like road graders and street rollers. I’ve driven freight trucks, pump trucks, vacuum trucks and gasoline tanker trucks. I’ve hauled Hydrochloric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Carbonic Acid, Nitric Acid and several other acids that some how were accidentally pumped into my pump truck. I’ve also have delivered all grades of gasoline, diesel #1 and #2, jet fuel, aviation fuel and all grades of motor oil and crude oil. I’m not done yet!!

I’ve been a school custodian, highways and bridges maintenance man, gasoline tanker driver trainer, dispatcher, assistant manager, manager & safety director for petroleum companies. I’ve enjoyed being in the administrative field for the petroleum companies and the responsibility of servicing the public and customers who consume all the products. I’ve also been a Lake Attendant, Park Ranger, Deputy Sheriff and Private Patrol Operator.

Most currently I’ve been a California State Licensed Private Investigator for 12 years. I’ve been the past San Joaquin Director for the California Association of Licensed Investigators for 2 years and in the board of directors another 2 years. I am also a California State Licensed Bail Agent and Notary Public since June.  I'm a member ofthe Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and am running for a position in the Board of Directors.  I am also looking into getting my Immigration Bail Agent license this coming year (2008).

As I said, I have a lot of experience in a lot of fields. I am an extrovert, a people person and although I don’t like to stand in line for anything, I enjoy being around people and helping people in their time of need. People are always in need and I know that we never stop learning. People that say they know it all, really don’t. I don’t know it all, I’m personally learning new things every day.

As you can see, I’m not the type of person that sits comfortably with any one job.  I don’t like sitting still and am always looking for improvement.  Maybe because I‘m a Virgo.  I find myself in front of the computer doing tons of investigative reports all the time.  And one of my past times is communicating with people in MAS and now in Bakotopia.

I’m a serious person but yet I like to laugh and that’s why I am the way I am. I guess I’m serious when I need to be and funny when I want to see someone smile or laugh. Now that you know who I am I want to make myself available to you all if you have any questions regarding any of the jobs I’ve had or if you want to talk about my experiences. Since I am a Bail Agent, you might have questions about that. Would you like to know how to bail out a relative or friend from jail?

You may also have questions about my private investigative experience. I investigate crimes mainly for criminal defense attorneys. We’re talking murder with all it’s degrees,…..assaults and all crimes against persons which also include armed and strong arm robbery, kidnapping and sex crimes like rape and molestations. I also investigate property crimes such as petty theft, grand theft, grand theft auto, and all types of larceny including auto and building burglaries. How about forgery? It goes on and on and on!!
