AMERICAN SMOGG and Three Chord Whore invade Taft

0 responses 0 comments WOW!   What a weekend I had. I started off Friday night at Players supporting local bands as I so often do when my band isn't playing. Procela, hope I spelled that right, started off the music and my favorite Lady's to hang with went up second(Three Chord Whore) and then I finally got a chance to check out Sever the Loss. What a rock'n night at players, I think there was another band after Sever The Loss ,but I had a gig in Taft the next night and like a good boy, I went home at 12 to get some rest. Little ONE you had so many birth day wishes, and songs decanted to you, even though you went home a little early, you were still in everyones mind. Hope you had a great B-day. Saturday night went even better, cause I got to play. Three Chord Whore came out to Taft and opened for us at the Oasis. Thank you Lady's so much, you made some new fans in Taft and you rocked. They got the crowd up for us and the excitement  in the air was more than I had experienced before. When we took the stage and the dance floor filled just a few notes into our first song. I so  love that high you get playing original music and the crowd getting so into it. What a great weekend, I'll be riding that high for a week or too. Thank you Taft and The Oasis for having us out there, we look forward to the next time.   Richard/AMERICAN SMOGG
