Little things in life stay fresh and feeling new. For example, the smell of a good rain, the taste of a great cheeseburger, and the sight of a clear starry night are all lovely, but still doesn't compare to the sound of a memorable love song.
Unfortunately, even fewer love songs have the lasting ability to freeze time; to permanently and precisely engrave a memory. Only if the melody and mood is right, a song will take a moment and etch it into our minds forever. A love song brings back the touch of a hand, the familiar scent of a sweet perfume, the first shared smile, an accompanied walk, a sloppy kiss, or simply the innocence of fifteen. These are my ultimate all-time favorite love songs:

These songs are the timeless anthems penciled into the depths of my heart. These songs have the undeniable power to make me happy. I feel giddy and care-free just long enough to realize the little things in life are the most memorable moments in life. And nothing is better than a great soundtrack to the little things.
