Fat Tuesday, better known as Mardi Gras, where you get the enjoy the last vestige of debauchery before the 40 days of Lent.
There were many local celebrations, but probably none in comparison to the yearly shin-dig at Fishlip's, featuring your favorite band, Mento Buru. This year, Joey Romley and Soulajar were the special guests invited to rock the joint. In cased you missed it, which a lot of you did, you had all-you-can-eat Cajun food, flowing spirit, and flying beads.
Ahhh, the beads...those traditional little devices that have the special power to make women, and unfortunately some men, exposed certain naughty bits. I myself had a constant supply of beads, and while I did get some show, I had to not take any pictures (DAMN). Oh well, it still was a great night.
