Homer Joy Makes Chart History --- AGAIN!
Los Angeles, CA --- Homer Joy got a Valentine and a lot of love from radio and fans when, for the seventh time, his current single "John Law" was # 1 on the Independent Music Network's Country Charts. IMN's charts are a combination of radio spins along with a percentage of fan votes and Homer Joy was shown loved once again by both as he sits on the top spot. This is the first time in the three year history of IMN that a song has been #1 seven times and "John Law" did it for Homer Joy.
Homer is topping charts all over the country and around the world including Europe and Australia. The popular song was #1 on TCBGR playlist but Homer takes it all in stride. "I just love to make music and I am happy people like what I do," says the humble man who wrote "The Streets of Bakersfield" over 30 years ago, and finally, this year moved to the city he made famous in song.
"John Law" is the first single from Homer's CD Someday It'll Be Country. It is the first of many more #1 songs to come in 2008 and beyond for this much loved hitmaker.
