FEBRUARY 21ST, 2008

With that, Fishlips exploded.

Digital Underground was in town for a sold-out, packed-house show at local hotspot Fishlip's. Starting off with a little Seed to get the party started, Bakersfield showed up in force to welcome Shock G. and company for a night of insanity. Bakotopia was well represented in the house: me, Matt, Lauren, Deusexmachina, Natural Movement, and numerous others.  

I don't know the number of fans, but it's been a while since I've seen the 'Lips packed like that.  Digital stayed until the place closed signing autographs, taking pictures with fans, and generally hanging out with Bako-lander's.

After that, Dj Mikey and I took the crew over to Jack in the Crack for some after-party grub, the hung out with them at their hotel til the wee hours.  Actually, I didn't leave until 4:15, so I went home, took a shower, and went to work...no sleep till Oakland, lol.

Thanks to Shauna and Andrizzle and the entire crew at the 'Lips for putting on a great show. 

Now, if Andrizzle can get the rapper he was talking about he wanted to get, then it will be mind-blowing...but, that's all you get, it's a secret. Stay tuned.
