It’s not all about the music at Bako Parks SpringFest in the Park at Riverwalk.
On April 5 - 6, 2008 there’s the Walk for Life, a rubber duck race, artisans, a gallery on the green, food and plenty to do for kids.
But come on peeps, this is Bakotopia, and here, music is what matters. There are two stages you can watch bands at SpringFest.
On Saturday night, four bands will be performing at the Bright House Amphitheatre at 11200 Stockdale Highway from 5 to 9 p.m.
Credential Recordings indie band Lost Ocean hits the stage at 6:15 p.m. for a must-see erformance. Hayes Field, Honky Tonk Truckers and Right Cross will also be performing.
On both Saturday and Sunday, bands will be hitting the SpringFest mobile stage right amongst the artisans from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The two-piece alt country/Irish music band Black Dog will be performing both days. Stay tuned for other local acts there as well. The music is all free.
