Thinking about getting your twins enhanced? Don’t be shy — go BIG!
By Denise Ornelas, Bakotopia.com contributor
Well ladies, it’s getting that time of year, yes I mean bikini season!
Being a salon owner now for eight years (Allure Salon & Day Spa), I know to have some answers ready for that question I get about now: “Denise, who do recommend for a boob job?” and “What size do you think I should get?” Ladies, breast implants are a completely personal decision — it’s what you want or trying to achieve.
Personally, my best advice is (and guys, you will agree), whatever size you choose, go a size bigger! Come on now. All that money and pain just to be conservative? Now is not the time! Really, I tell everyone that, and women who listen are usually happy a year later, whereas the people that don’t listen want to go back for some more within a year.
If you do choose to have surgery, make sure you do your research, ladies! It is very important to make sure that the surgeon you choose is board certified!
Don’t be cheap and look for deals. You want skill and precision or you may come out with a “uni-boob” — yes, I have seen that, and it’s not pretty or sexy!
Is it a painful procedure? I hear different stories some women think it’s horrific, and others think it’s no biggie. Personally, beauty is pain so get used to it if you want to look good! Most women wake up with discomfort and some pain, but that’s what all the prescription drugs are for. Don’t worry, you'll be fine in no time at all.
Now the best part is when the twins are ready to go out!
Having a new set of twins is a lot of fun. I don’t care who you are — you feel more confident and your clothes look even better, especially your naughty nighties. Just remember most implants are good for 10 years, then it’s time for a tune up.
Also, you will be given a couple of choices like “under the muscle” or “over?” If you are teeny tiny and young, I would recommend under the muscle— I have seen many of sets and the women who choose under the muscle have the best results.
Silicone or saline implants? Now this is a tricky one. I would recommend silicone, because they are 30 percent lighter than saline. Keep in mind that some doctors will not touch silicone on women who plan on having children in the future.
Can I breast-feed with implants? Yes! You can still breast-feed if you have implants as long as you’re under the muscle and you consult with your physician (I always get that question).
If you are thinking about it and have the means to do it, girls, I say “Go for it!” I am all for plastics, and I always tell my friends, “If a little nip tuck is going to help, then why the hell not?”
Good luck with your search for the perfect set!
