The Heartache Valley Girls
I met these girls at trouts were they played in the basement. In the photo they are with historic Bakersfield sound country star Red Simpson.
The Heartache Valley Girls personify the honky-tonk sound as we would like to know it. Growing up with the wonderful world of country music surrounding them and having parents who listened to little else, The Heartache Valley Girls learned early on how to epitomize and recognize the soul and heartache that went hand in hand with country music. Best Friends from way back when, The Heartache Valley Girls have tight harmonies and a tight playing style to match the tight friendship they’ve acquired over the years. On stage, the energy of the music along with the obvious love of creating it leaps from every corner of the stage. So if you ever get the chance to see this magnificent duo in action, please be sure to say hello, as The Heartache Valley Girls follow the motto of “there are no such things as strangers, only friends we haven’t met yet!”
