Lively Celtic at Mama's
On April 12th, a Saturday Night at Mama Hillybean's it was a lively celtic celebration with "Whiskey Galore" . Mama's outdoor stage was a perfect setting and Whiskey Galore made great use of it. It was the first outdoor show this year and went over wonderfully!
On April 12th, a Saturday Night at Mama Hillybean's it was a lively celtic celebration with "Whiskey Galore" . Mama's outdoor stage was a perfect setting and Whiskey Galore made great use of it. It was the first outdoor show this year and went over wonderfully!
Whiskey Galore's motto is "American Bred, Celtic Fed". Based in Bakersfield, the band brought their bagpipes, percussion, guitars, bass, kilts and unique sound to Tehachapi. "You can't listen to whiskey Galore without smiling" said one of the audience. "These guys are terrific" said another. During the last song of the first set all members of the band came of the stage and danced circling the audience. Whiskey Galore is a high energy celtic band, and made this night at Mama's enjoyable to the variety of people in the crowd.
To those who sadly missed this show, no worries!! Whiskey Galore has asked to come back again!! Be sure to check the Mama Hillybeans website for all the shows upcoming, and any other info you may need.
