If you have not been to Mama HillyBeans yet, you must check it out!

For starters, Mama's serves a delicious menu filled with as close as you can get to all healthy, local organic ingredients. Yummy coffee and soothing teas, snacks such as fruit or veggie plates to eat alone, or to share with your group, salmon wraps, bagels with toppings, and a kid menu that's actually healthy!

For the families with young children who thought it was impossible to enjoy a night out and hear live music, eat a nice meal, and not have to worry about the kids, think again!Here's your place! A kid play area loaded with toys, visible from near any seat you grab. Kids can have fun and you parents can feel at ease. 

A media room is also available, and if you have a laptop Mama's has wireless internet ready to connect with. There is also a printer to help complete your projects while you relax in the setting Mama Hillybeans is known for, and with good reason. Couches, a waterfall, live music, and an outdoor patio to take comfort in on a nice Tehachapi day.

To top it off, Mama Hillybeans is becoming a well known music venue!! Live music every weekend, even some Thursdays and Sunday nights are being used as a Special  Music Event night. Tuesdays there is an open acoustic jam, and Wednesdays open mic is held. Tehachapi has some amazing talent in such a variety of ways.

Mama's was proud to have had Anias Mitchell, Joel Rafael, Whiskey Galore, and many local musicians too, of course. Soon coming David Roth on May 8th, Jamie Laval and Ashley Broder on May 9th, May 15th Laura Love is playing, May 18th Stacey Earle and Mark Stuart with a live recording from Folkscene radio, The Crosstown Cowboys on the 24th of May, a bit down the road but this one is great Ellis Paul on November 6th, and so many more great musicians!

The first Friday of each month Mama's holds an artist reception for the local artists that will have their artwork on display and available to be sold at the coffeehouse. The receptions are accompanied by songs played by one of the local musicians

2nd annual Earthday Celebration is April 26th at Mama Hillybeans with activities for all. Live music, petting zoo, planting tips, and so much more! The celebration is from    11-4pm
