If you seriously want to learn guitar, regardless of your experience level, beginner to advanced, JR is absolutely the most qualified instructor in our area. He teaches Blues, Rock, C&W, Metal, Jazz and Classical.
The most unique aspect of JR's teaching is that he does not have a "one size fits all" method for instruction. JR teaches each individual based upon his or her wants, personality, ability etc. The best part is....YOU WILL ACTUALLY LEARN TO PLAY THE TYPE OF MUSIC YOU LOVE! I have taken instruction from a few local instructors. These guys were pretty good too! But they only taught me how to play specific songs, or "licks".
So everytime I played those pieces I was compelled to play them the exact same way! There is no freedom there! JR teaches MUSIC! The how. The why. He will teach you how to be creative. He will give you confidence in your present level of ability and help you to grow. Call him! I think you will be pleased.
