My favorite custom bike builder is Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles. Russell started out by messing around with his personal scooters when he was a teenager. His ideas went from there and he began working with choppers. The reason Exile Cycles is my favorite custom bike builder, is Russell doesn't believe in making them fancy. He builds choppers that are what the true rider wants, a bike that is functional, comfortable and simple. What you see is what you get, unlike other builders who put little pieces of unnecessary items on the bike just to make it stand out. The real riders are the ones that have the simple bikes, the yahoo's have all the bells and whistles. Exicle Cycles is true throughout. Comment From: woofwoof

Personally I have to say my favorite builder is gone. Indian Larry Desmedt.I liked his 60's style a bit more then the new stuff coming out now. But hey,,thats just me. Comment From: lilnemo

Jesse James, West Coast Choppers. First reason - his name and the TV show. Second reason - he built one for a friend of mine. Third reason - LONG BEACH! Comment From: therayban

My choice would be the guys of West Coast Choppers. I thought the bikes they built on their show were awesome!! I went to the Thunder Run for the first time two years ago and I had a blast. I probably took about thousand pictures while there. Loved all the bikes. Comment From: tinog

My favorite bike builder is Jessie James of West Coast Choppers. # 1. he has got a cool name . # 2. he puts those six shooter cylinders on his bikes that are so cool. # 3. hes got that cool tattoo on the palm of his hand that says "pay me sucker" ha ha ha . and last but not least # 4. he's got that cool logo of the iron cross with west coast choppers on it that every body copies ...oh and I almost for got # 5. he says he never paints anything yellow cus he says he's not yellow ha ha ha get it. I gottz to say that my all time favorite custom bike builders are the dysfunctional family outfit that call themselves Orange County Choppers! The father-and-sons team kikz azz with outstanding pieces of custom chopper art every time, regardless of issues including disagreements, authority struggles, and just straight up attitude problems! They serve as a lesson to all of us that no matter how screwed families may seem to be, they can pull together and accomplish some awesome feats because everyone has somethin to contribute to a bone-rattling, head-turning, pimpt out end product that is the stuff dreams are made of!!!! Chopppppp on, bebe!
