Tally Records, Bakersfield / THANK YOU FOR FORWARDING THIS REQUEST TO ANYONE WHOM YOU THINK MIGHT HAVE A CLUE...
We are trying to find out who might own the masters for Bakersfield's Tally Records - specifically recording sessions done from 1956-1960 by Al Hendrix, and other early local rocknroll/ rockabilly/rocking country - hillbilly.
Long-time Bakersfield country musicians in particular, as well as their sons and daughters and other family members, might know this information, which likely would get you a "thank you" credit on a European CD set.
If you could help spread the word on this, we'd be most grateful.
