Jimmy Phillips (well known singer, drummer and part of the original Bakersfield sound ) will be hosting the first Gospel Sunday at the world famous Trout’s and the Blackboard Stages this Sunday, August 10. Jimmy recently released his first gospel CD called, “Pray Every Day.” The title track was written by Red Simpson. Joining Jimmy will be Tommy Hays, Tracy Barns, Maria Weir Werth and other artists. This event will begin at 2:00 PM with the possibility of becoming a regular happening.
