Bare at The Empty Space
Set in a Catholic boarding school, the show centers on a group of friends during their senior year - coming to TES through September '08.

Altar boy Peter (Austin Jallo) is in love with his roommate Jason (Jeremiah Heitman), one of the most popular kids in school.

They are carrying on a closeted romance but Peter wants to go public with their affair, at least to his mother (Kimber Peaker-Lozano), whom he loves dearly.

Jason isn’t so keen on the idea, as he feels that his entire world would crumble if word of the relationship got out. Things get more complicated when Ivy (Alyssa Bonnano) makes a play for Jason. Her rejected suitor Matt (Justin Brooks) discovers the secret that Peter and Jason have been keeping and it’s only a matter of time before things start to spin out of control.

The cast also includes: Lindsey Smith (Nadia); Thomas Robinson (Priest); Mychael Phillips (Sister Chantelle); Taylor Lozano (Lucas); Jillian Wellwood (Tanya);Mario Gonzalez (Zach); Katie Aquino (Kyra); Bobby Gamez (Alan); Kayleigh Peaker (Diane); Deva Wiloth (Rory); and Shayla McPherson-Phillips (Vanessa).

Performance dates are: Sept. 20, 21, 27, 28 and Oct. 3 and 4 at 8 p.m., and on Sept. 22 and 29 at 2 p.m. at The Empty Space Theatre, 706 Oak St., next to Pizzaville. Admission is free, but a $10 donation for adults and $5 donation for children and students is suggested.
