Not getting as much use out of those old college texts now that the class is ended? You can now turn them into cold hard cash at your local bookstore.
Russo's Books at the Marketplace (9000 Ming Avenue, right behind CSUB) has announced that they have entered into an agreement with Penn Text, a company specializing in the buying and selling of used college textbooks.
Effective immediately Russo's Books will be able to give cash for selected used textbooks from their Marketplace location. Students may also purchase used textbooks directly from Penn Text by logging on to their website, www.penntext.com.
Initially the book buy-back will be on selected days / times at Russo's Marketplace, so call the store at 665-4686 for the current schedule. Russo's cannot provide specific information what your book will fetch over the phone ... for that you'll need to bring the book in.
As the service gains in popularity, Russo's plans on extending the the buy-back program times.
