The Bakersfield Jazz Workshop is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Jazz education and performance throughout our community in a supportive environment, bringing together outstanding performers and teachers along with students and listeners of all abilities and backgrounds. We meet every Tuesday night from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, with a beginning Jazz Improv class from 6-7:30pm, a featured guest artist from 7:30-8:15pm, and a structured jazz jam session from 8:15-10:00pm. Please bring Real Book OR lead sheets, and vocalists bring lead sheets in your keys! Bring 4 copies of each lead sheet to pass out to the band.
