I was reading an article titled, "GOP Chief apologizes for Limbaugh Remark," and I realized how great it must be to be Republican. It must be great to have such power and wealth, that you can do something in front of people and then deny it without retaliation. It must be great to be a politician in general, but mainly Republican, to have a selective memory where you can argue, on national television, against something that you helped create.
This is the same party that fought had a member in charge of the White House Pages, and argued childrens rights, turned out to be a gay pedophile. This is the same party that pushed the "Jesus" issue and fought abortion and gay rights and turns out to have many "switch hitters in their ranks," especially in bathrooms. This is the same party supported by a national Christian organization whose leader rubs elbows with Pres. Bush and was outed by his boyfriend for being gay and a druggie.
Now the GOP cannot seem to work together. But you gots to love the GOP, they can screw up on national television and deny it later and their sheep buy it! Michael Steele, GOP President, had said Limbaugh is just an enterntainer and the whole GOP went crazy. Now Steele was forced to change his comment because he can and nobody is holding him to it but also cause Crazy Rush is offended. Now Limbaugh on his radio show says
"Why are you running the Republican Party?" Limbaugh asked on his radio show. "Why do you claim you lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it that President Obama succeeds? ... I would be embarrassed to say that I'm in charge of the Republican Party in the sad-sack state that it's in. If I were chairman of the Republican Party, given the state that it's in, I would quit."
So to be a Republican you must want President Obama to fail, even though Obama failing also means that the US will fail as well. What a piece of shit! Especially when it is these same idiots that argued during the Bush years, if youre not in favor of the war on terrorism then you are anti-American. The Democrats are arguing that Limbaugh is the real voice of the Republicans, I guess the Dems got one right so far.
