whats funny is this was posted like 2 years ago...... which in the beg. was a joke. OH well ... i know out of most people that Democrats and republicans are garbage.... not just one or the other.... people are gay. like that comment.. i have ADD with things that i don't care about, that's one... i didn't read most of the reply... i hate that people defend democrat or republican politics.

I sense a pissing war,..in the end  we all know Democrat's and Republicans are nothing likes their stereo types.  They are made of of individuals that may not follow their party lines on every little thing.  They do however most of the time take a few things of their party's beliefs and run with them. it's sad each fears the other side,.and we wonder why we can't get anything done in government.  if we are so busy pissing and fighting with each other we lose sight of what we are really trying to do.

it's like two people working together in the beginning  to do what ever the task is about,.(the main focus)  soon they are belittling each other so much, the main focus gets lost in the BS. I think the two party system needs to go away. there fore  you can only blame the person,..if you feel inclined,..not everyone  else for the government's ills.

First of all if you take a look back at documented earth climate, this is the first time that it has been changed so derastically in such a short period of time due to a large increase in carbon in the atmosphere. It is now an accepted theory in the field of science that Global Warming is man made. A theory, in the general sense of the word, is an analytic structure designed to explain a set of observations. A theory does two things: it (1) identifies this set of distinct observations as a class of phenomena, and (2) makes assertions about the underlying reality that brings about or affects this class. The term is often used colloquially to refer to any explanatory thought, even fanciful or speculative ones, but in scholarly use it is reserved for ideas which meet baseline requirements about the kinds of observations made, the methods of classification used, and the consistency of the theory in its application among members of that class. In other words a THEORY is as close as you get in science to a proven fact.

If you knew anything about gender roles you would know that it has nothing to do with sexual orentation. Also if you do some research into scientific testing performed on homosexuals. They found by using MRI and PET (positron emission tomography) brain scans and expsing gay men to androsadienone (AND) that the hypothalamus responded in the same way as hetrosexual women. Androsadienone is a pheremone that attracts femals to males. So homosexuality is biological and is therefor natural.

The belief is not that the AIDS virus is spread due to lack of federal funding rather that its spread can be prevented with more federal funding. With research and anaylsis of sexual behavior we can predict how people are going to use protection. We can learn how it is best to teach people the dangers of sexually transmitted disease. Once again if you do a little research you will find that sex education has reduced the spread of STD's and unwanted pregnancy.

Perhaps these teachers would be able to teach 4th-graders how to read with more federal funding for education. The average class size is around 30. If you think about that you have one teacher trying to teach 30 individual students how to read, write, and an array of other subjects. Thats rediculous. Also sex education is normally done by a teacher that comes into the class room and teaches it. Or the teachers get special training and education. Sex should be talked about more. Just because you ignore the elephant standing in the room doesn't meant that it's not there.

Your right Mel Gibson didn't make The Passion of the Christ for financial gain. Mel Gibson made a play that was anti semetic. The diaries which describe the visions of St. Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774-1824) provided much of the content of the screenplay. These visions were collected into book form by a noted German writer of the time, Brentano. The book, 'The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ'," is currently in print and is also available on the Internet _3,4 Emmerich was an Augustinian nun who lived in Germany who has been accused of having been anti-semitic. Author Joe Nickell writes: "Although at times Emmerick simply speaks of Jesus 'malicious and cruel enemies' (122), at other times, whether intentionally or not, she appears to malign an entire people. She refers to 'the cruel Jews,' (101, 106,115), and other disparagements -- reflected in Gibson's The Passion in the sinister countenances and action of Caiaphas's followers." ₂ Rev. C. E. Schmoeger wrote a biography of biography of Emmerich in 1976. In an apparent reference to the blood libel hoax, Emmerich described one vision of an "old Jewess Meyr" who admitted "that Jews in our country and elsewhere strangled Christian children and used their blood for all sorts of suspicious and diabolical practices." 

The writings of a second anti-semitic nun, Mary of Agreda, were allegedly used to add ot the screen play. What conservatives are telling the truth? Lets just look at our former President Bush. He lied to invade Iraq, there was no imediate threat to invade. Yet at the same time we are fighting a war in afghanastan looking for a known terrorist who does pose a threat. Clinton got a little action so who cares. Bush lied causing thousands to die.

People can display manger scenes all they want, thats not the issue. The issue is when tax dollars are funding the manger scene in places like court houses. There is a thing that we have here in America called seperation of church and state. Tax dollars are not funding gay pride parades. We are simply allowing people to express their views. Put the manger scene on church grounds or perhaps in your front yard and its no problem.
