Calling all local artists!

Okay I know I'm not the only visual artist on here, let alone in Kern county, wanting some exposure for his art work....So all you visual artists out there lets take advantage of Bakotopia and start our own artist community here.

Post your work and website links and lets see if we can't get others to notice that we too we can stand out in the crowd!

You can check out what I do at www.paper2pencil.com and if you are an artist lets link up and start our own community and blog for VISUAL ARTISTS on Bakotopia!

With enough artists posting their work,  just maybe we can get a section set aside for us?

The 18th St. Gallery is 835 18th St. between O & Q St., across from the old Thorp's Harley-Davidson store. The ladies there are great! I'm sure you can just walk in, and whoever is there at the time, Jenn, Denise or possibly Jen will be able to help you. Thier myspace page has hours and phone number, along with more info on the upcoming shows.  www.myspace.com/835eighteenth   My husband Mike has his graphic renderings there, and I'm just starting in photography, and painting myself. Hope to see you there sometime soon. I've seen your stuff, and you are really good!

Great and thanks! Is there an email I can send samples of my work or website to, or is just walking in okay to do? Also who do I ask for when I come in? What's the address.. and yes, I know.... 18th Street

:)

If you want a chance to network with other local artists, come see us at the 18th Street Gallery ... our next gallery show is June 30 and it's FREE ... but you can come in anytime during regular hours and chat with one of us!!  :D
