I am a freelance writer in good ole Bakersfield and the president of Writers of Kern. I write for Bakersfield Life magazine, Woman's World, and have been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul.  I dig writing.  You can pretty much say that. 

 

I love to write romance, but I also write haunted backstories for haunted attractions (scary, yes?). I've written five of them for our local haunt in Bakersfield, Talladega Frights (you can read them here: Haunted Backstories), as well as for haunts in Nevada, Washington, and SoCal. I attend haunt conferences and conduct classes on haunted backstory writing and classes on how to be a "monster mom" (casting director for haunted attractions).
